The village of Lanarce is perched up in the mountains of the Ardèche at an altitude of 1,200m half way between Aubenas and Puy-en-Velay. It is a region with a distinctive history and architecture (abbeys, churches, museums…), and is also blessed with unspoilt natural areas such as Issarlès lake, the surrounding forests and the upper valley of the Ardèche. By car

From Paris: Take the A6 motorway and then the A 10 and A71 to Clermont-Ferrand. Continue on the A 75 and leave the motorway at exit 20, continue on the N102 towards Brioude, and pass  to the side of Puy-en-Velay (N88). Then go in the direction of Aubenas (N102).

From Lyon: take the A7 motorway to Marseille, Saint Etienne. Continue on the A 47 in the direction of Saint Etienne and then pick up the N88. Cross Saint Etienne, take the direction for Puy-en-Velay and then drive towards Aubenas.

From Toulouse: Take the A61 motorway and then the A 68 and N88 in the direction of Albi, then go in the direction of Rodez still on the N88. Continue on the A 75 E11, leave the motorway at the Mende exit, drive through Mende, then head in the direction of Langogne, Aubenas. When you leave Pradelles, turn right in the direction of Aubenas.

From Marseille: take the A7 motorway in the direction of Valence, leave at Montélimar Sud, drive through Malataverne, Montélimar, take the N102, drive through Aubenas, and drive towards Puy-en-Velay.
